Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Description:
Pinnacle Charter Schools is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our K-5 Special Education Team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and possess strong skills in behavioral therapy and data collection. The position follows Pinnacle’s Master Calendar schedule and provides generous school benefits.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to: Elementary Principal
Direct Reports: This is a non-supervisory position.
Compensation:
This is a full-time, 10-month position. Salaries start at $61,464 and go up based on education and years of certified experience. Essential Functions:
- Conduct student assessments to develop and support individualized behavior intervention plans
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to support students
- Assist with crisis management and intervention
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust teaching plans accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for students
- Participate in ongoing and regular feedback cycles regarding the implementation of behavioral supports
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Potential supervision of RBTs within a classroom environment
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

- Be present and engage in Pinnacle functions and organizations to build strong relationships with students, parents, peers, and the community.
- Maintain and deepen current educational learning on an ongoing basis.

General Abilities, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Skills:
- An active Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and in good standing with the BCBA
- Must have an active license through the CDE (Initial Adjunct Instructor Authorization)
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis
- Knowledge of medical records management
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate while appreciating the diverse background of students, parents, peers, and the community
- Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator Demonstrated commitment to mission and vision of the school

Working Conditions:
Exposure/Noise Level: Occasional exposure to airborne particles, fumes, and outdoor weather conditions. Normal school environment with moderate to high noise level.
Mental Functions: Analyze, collaboration, communicate, compare, compilation of data, compute, coordinate, copy, direct, evaluate, instruct, interpersonal skills, present, report, synthesize.
Physical Activities: Office environment including computer interface. Bend, reach, sit, stand, stoop, talk, walk, and heavy person-to-person interaction with students, parents, peers, and community members.
Weight and Force Demands: Moderate physical activity (lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25 pounds).
Other: May be required to work outside of normal working hours and travel for work related functions.
